to work properly. First plugged it in, no sound: restarted and all worked fine.

Then i plugged in their USB power as well, and everything kept working.

In the process of doing things with my library I messed something up with RaspyFi and decided to reinstall... all of a sudden my DAC didnt work anymore. then decided to try the analogue out: worked, then plugged in the DAC without power, restarted: worked. Plugged in the power and mystery: works again

so overall, works :-)
