from Per:
HiFimeDIY Sabre DAC2, I’ve only tested it up to 16/44.1k, but it should be able to play 24/96k. Tried with USB patch but without “Update for Samba users”, this worked perfectly.
The sound are somewhat “closed” and the finer details gets a bit muddy.
Setup: PI-B model, 2A supply, Synology 110j on 1 Gb net.

I have been setting up a RaspyFi setup for work. At the moment I am using the built in audio jack that has loads of hiss (yum... not). I was hoping the HiFime Sabre would work as a cheap alternative. I am not looking for HiFi quality (it is for an open workshop), just something without hiss.

Anyone got one or know if it may work?
