You can connect to the Pi via SSH console and do all the install and command prompt stuff.

Simply follow the instructions here (from "Installing the prerequisites" on): http://www.raywenderlich.com/4.....y-tutorial

You'll want to stop or start the shairport process (it's a perl script); this is done via a shell script which can be triggered by a PHP script which in turn can be called from another device in the network via HTTP Get.

I downloaded the raspyfi so works fine..I wonder if I can install shareport on the console I see when my pi boots? would that then allow me to either use the webGUI to play music on local storage or stream live from an iphone,ipad,PC,etc?
