Hello,
I have installed the program on a SD Card and booted the raspberry. When it starts up it shows the raspyfi logo, and then he asked me to login the raspberry. I logged in and nothing happens.
Why is the program not starting. I can't go the the ip adress with the internet browser. It is just not online. I have reinstalled a couple of times but there is no other reaction from the raspyfi.
Hope one of you can help me,
Regards Ronald

Hi Ronald,
if it's not connecting, you can log in and then launch these commands:
sudo rm /lib/udev/write_net_rules
sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
Then, to start follow this:

Let me know!

I'm about ready to give up on the program.
I've tried everything to get it to run and all I get in the end is the logon prompt.
I've even tried the above and I get the basic file not found message.
Never mind…I figured out what I was doing wrong. I figured I would see more on the screen than what I was getting. It's working fine with a USB stick (got to change my drive over to FAT32). Just haven't gotten MPdroid to work though but that's a minor issue.
Currently working with a FiiO E-10 dac – which is going to upgraded to a Schiit Modi tomorrow.
Thanks for a very useful program. Now I just have to figure out how to get rid of the noise that the Raspberry Pi makes and gets into my stereo (NAD 320BEE).
Hay I'm having the same problem.
I fallowed the instructions from the tutorial put the sd-card turn on my pi and like Thomas- its show the login, i logged and nothing.
I tried to do it again a couple of times with a couple of different sd-cards, and another usb stick all of them gave me the same result.
I also tried the commands above and nothing.
please I need some help its really frustrating
And then you follow this:
http://www.raspyfi.com/raspyfi…..art-guide/
You don't have to enter in the terminal of the raspberry to start playing, you should use a client program (with windows, mac or android or IOS). From there you control the raspberry and the playback…
Ok.
I followed the instructions in the guide. I connected my pi to my wireless network but now i don't really understand what to do.
First of all my main goal is to share the music I have on my computer and phone wirelessly with my pi
Also I want to control my pi from my android phone and my based win computer.
To tell you do true I'm a complete noob in this pi business so please try to explain me all the steps I need to do and after that how I suppose to do it.
I read allot of ''strange'' names and words like nas, samba share and more.
I didn't really understood what I suppose to do.
Thank you very mach.
