It works like it's supposed to. It recognizes FLAC files and plays MP3s off the memory stick without any problems. Definitely a problem with Raspyfi.

My music played fine on the other builds but the interface with my mouse was so "laggy" that it was beyond frustrating (along with other frustrations). Decided to gave Rapsyfi a try. Before I reformated my HDD to a compatible file system, I decided to try it with music from a USB key. It's a new Kingston 3g USB 2.0 key. Loaded some tunes on it, both MP3s and flac. Raspyfi doesn't even see the flac tunes. The MP3s stop every 20 seconds or so and then continue playing after a short interval. I thought it might be a buffering problem, so I doubled the default to 4096 (???). That didn't fix the problem.
I'm not using an external DAC. I have the HDMI hooked up to my TV and then by optical cable to my receiver FWIW. The USB stick is plugged directly into the Pi and the Pi is powered with a good quality power supply--5.25 V.
Can anyone tell what the problem is with the MP3 files and why flac files are not visible?
