Think wicd curses take the networking over, right?

This really increases the boot times.

Try to rfkill eth0 in the main list. Or press "P" to go to preference, and clear "eth0" from the interface list. See if that helps.

I'm new to the forum and the raspi.

One Problem: Wifi didn't worked out of the box with the Edimax, so I did the "wicd-curses" job.
Wifi now works. But loading raspyfi ... get coffee... and one more. raspyfi is searching lan and wlan and could not find it.
Last service is the wicd ... so rasp connect to wlan.
Is this normal?

Karsten

PS. So far great job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
