I have the same Problem. Raspyfi starts perfekt without my USB Drive (750GB).
When i connect it to the raspberry and power it up, the Raspyfi OS boots up, but i cant go to the Webinterface.
But when i wait 3-4Minutes the Webinterface will work again.
What can i do?

I can't seem to get at the error log since I only use sftp to access my rpi (no screen, no keyboard), and sftp tells me "the host did not respond within 15s, closing connection"..
