I wonder it would be efficient to echo "package hold" | dpkg --set-selections for Raspyfi's modified packages. I'll read through your blog post regarding how RC2 came together and see if its feasible to come up with a list.

So we suggest not to upgrade,unless you want to see if something improves and you can flash again...

I notice most of them were core packages. Is it safe to update and retain all modifications made by the Raspyfi team?
