Could you please post the result of

dmesg

fdisk -l

Thanks!

Try attaching the HD directly to the PI and let me know. Mind that you should plug the HD before turning RaspyFi on!

davidkohli on problem with FAT32 drive but not NTFS http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/raspyfi-install-and-troubleshooting/problem-with-fat32-drive-but-not-ntfs/#p1774 RaspyFi install and troubleshooting http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/raspyfi-install-and-troubleshooting/problem-with-fat32-drive-but-not-ntfs/#p1774 I have been trying to get raspyfi to work with a Seagate bus powered portable drive (1TB Backup Plus). It is formatted Fat32 and connected to a powered USB hub (which is connected via USB to my Pi). I have had XBMC running and successfully reading/playing from this drive (as formatted and connected) but no luck with any version of Raspyfi that I have tried. I have also had success with a self powered (dedicated power source) Seagate Drive with NTFS connected via a hub and connected directly to the Pi. Should I reformat the FAT 32 drive to NTFS? or try a different powered hub?

TIA
