RaspyFi - Topic: Enable Pulseaudio network Sink http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/tweaks-and-optimizations/enable-pulseaudio-network-sink/ Simple:Press Version 5.2.6 robban on Enable Pulseaudio network Sink http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/tweaks-and-optimizations/enable-pulseaudio-network-sink/#p2000 Tweaks and optimizations http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/tweaks-and-optimizations/enable-pulseaudio-network-sink/#p2000 The feature works. - I made a "clean" install on Raspbian but faced stuttering sound, thought this might help.
I was under the impression that Raspyfi already had Pulseaudio installed? - Correct me if I'm wrong!
If that is the matter the networked audio sink should only me a couple of config lines away.

Where should I add the config lines?

It shows how to run MPD with Pulseaudio without X (when I started searching I was under the assumption Pulse would not start without X, as per my short experience, but was pleasantly surprised). PulseAudio will add a significant amount of overhead to the little Pi possibly reducing audio quality.
Would be a great feature tho! I want to know how it goes if you do it!Smile

robban on Enable Pulseaudio network Sink http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/tweaks-and-optimizations/enable-pulseaudio-network-sink/#p1993 Tweaks and optimizations http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/tweaks-and-optimizations/enable-pulseaudio-network-sink/#p1993 Hi!
Great software and out of the box features.
One thing I miss though is to be able to send Pulseaudo sound from my laptop/desktop to the Raspyfi without the need for AirPlay.
Ubuntu don't even support airplay!

On raspbian you find the needed config file here: /etc/pulse/system.pa
Unfortunately I did not find it there for Raspyfi... Where is it?
If PulseAudio already is running smoothly it should be a quick thing to enable the networked audio sink as I want.

Please help me here. :)
Thanks!

b.t.w. it's enabled with this added to the standard file:
"load-module module-native-protocol-tcp auth-ip-acl=127.0.0.1;192.168.0.0/24 auth-anonymous=1
load-module module-zeroconf-publish"
