I2S-Implementation for raspberry - great work! SmileI wonder, if it's also possible to connect an CS4334 chip via I2S to the Raspberry. Is there inherent support for any I2S compatible chip or would be a designated low-level driver required?

unfortunately the main kernel doesn't seem to recognize the i2s DAC (at least on my PI, which is an older model). So I stick with the kernel you compiled initially for HifiBerry. That does work pretty good. The kernel indeed works pretty good and it can easily play 24/192 both via i2s and USB.
It's by the way included in the next version (to be hopefully released tomorrow)
