First, good sounding is achieved with lots (mean lots) of optimizations, which would take a lot to replicate for you. Then, what's the point of asking about another client in RaspyFi's forum?

I have my music collection on LMS (Logitech Media Server) and use a Squeezebox Touch player.
I would like to extend this system for other rooms as well. I thought i could use Pi-s for this since there are some squeezebox clients for the pi.
So i have just built a Pi for testing out how it would go. I tried PiCorePlayer (with squeezelite) on pi but it sounded not too good.

Then i thought i will check RaspyFi (music collection access via NFS). And it sounded much better than PiCorePlayer. Since i really
would like to use LMS as media source i installed squeezelite on the RaspyFi image. But that sounded way worse that RaspyFi's "native"
client.

So my questions are: would it be possible to use squeezelite on RaspyFi and have the good sound quality of the native client? If yes, how?
