I used it, because with its internal charge pump it can create full 2V RMS output without the need of an external power supply. That makes it easy to use for the Raspberry user. It also has not only good technical specs, but also sounds really nice and can run up to 192kHz/24bit.

I expect to finish the prototype testing in about 2 weeks. I will announce the pricing, if I'm sure, that everything works as planned and I do have the right components.

It does look like I have a Rev 2 board, so that's good.

I guess the RCA connectors could be wired rather than attached directly to the board, then they could be moved to a position on the case where there's space.

By the way, do you happen to know the line out RMS voltage of a PCM2704 DAC (USB version that I have at the moment)? It's fine, but lower than my CD player which claims to be 2V RMS. It would be nice to find a DAC that had a similar V RMS output into my amplifier.

I'm using a PCM2704 USB DAC which looks like it's smaller than yours but it lacks the finesse yours has. That's quite awesome and I do like the RCA's so maybe offering RCA and 3.5mm stereo would be a good solution.

But since every thing I have is already able to use normal headphone jack connectors and I know that go's for more people, you might want to consider making one with a 3,5mm jack would be great. I use my HiFiBerry Mini DAC. It works even with 192kHz/24bit FLAC files :-)
