What about using an USB host to GPIO? Then the USB DAC would have a exclusive bus.

I just bought an Exposure 2010s2 DAC which is a great piece of Hardware using Wolfson 8742 chipset. Results: I’m experiencing clips/blips with my raspberry pi with Raspyfi 1.0. I am quite fuzzy with all the updates, changes, and tips to be taken. Can anybody please indicate the steps to be tried in order to fix the situation? thanks!

I have some problems with Mbox 2 soundcard (Digidesign, now Avid).
The sound popping and clipping and is absolutely bad.
Anyone has a solution?
